The Indians rallied past Pine Grove, while the Bears defeated Stroudsburg.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Pine Grove-Lehighton
Lehighton used a huge fourth quarter to rally for a 58-42 Schuylkill League victory over Pine Grove.
Joe Roth scored eight of his game-high 18 points in the final period as the Indians, who trailed by three heading into the final eight minutes, outscored the Cardinals 24-5.
Cole Dietz hit four three-pointers and finished with 16 points, while Owen Serfass added 10.
Pine Grove received a team-high 14 points from Chase Sarge.
The win upped Lehighton to 9-4 overall and 2-4 in the league. The Cards slipped to 1-12 and 0-6.

Pleasant Vy.-Stroudsburg
Pleasant Valley won for the third time in its last four games by defeating Stroudsburg 64-57 in an Eastern Pennsylvania Conference matchup.
Zach Prator scored a team-high 17 points for the Bears, who trailed by one at halftime before using an 18-10 third quarter to take the lead.
PV also received 15 points from Zach Pandolfo, while Dakoda Lucas contributed 10. Val Byers-Robinson was a perfect 6-of-6 at the foul line in the fourth quarter to help hold off the Mounties.
Richard Gilmore paced Stroudsburg with a game-high 24 points.
The Bears improved to 4-8 overall and 1-8 in the league, while the Mounts fell to 6-6 and 3-6.

Nativity-Marian
Nativity raced to a double-digit halftime lead and went on to post a 71-55 Schuylkill League victory over Marian.
Noah Dolbin scored 13 of his 15 points in the opening half as the Hilltoppers opened up a 14-point advantage.
The Colts received a double-double from Jesse Rodino, as he tallied a team-high 16 points and 11 rebounds. Bruce Hopeck contributed 13 points to the Marian cause, while Jacob Miller chipped in with 12.
Nativity’s Trey Keating led all scorers with 20 points.
Marian, which has lost three straight, dropped to 8-5 overall and 3-2 in the league. The Hilltoppers evened their mark at 6-6, and are 3-2 in league play.

Jack Keiter scored all of his game-high 15 points in the first half to help North Schuylkill cruise to a 69-28 Schuylkill League victory over Jim Thorpe.
The Spartans, who also received 12 points from Zane Zulkowski, raced to a 30-point halftime lead and were never threatened.
Aaron Curran tallied a team-high 11 points for the Olympians.
The win lifted North Schuylkill to 9-4 overall and 5-1 in the league, while Thorpe slipped to 1-13 and 0-6.

Stroudsburg kept Pleasant Valley’s offense in check in posting a 48-29 Eastern Pennsylvania Conference victory.
The Mounties held the Bears to just 12 points through the first three quarters in gaining the win.
Teagan Strunk scored a game-high 16 points for Stroudsburg, which led by 18 at the half.
PV - which played without leading scorer Aryn Stivala - received 11 points from Katelyn Honadel and eight from Ryan Rosenberg.
The Mounties improved to 7-5 overall and 5-3 in the league, while the Bears fell to 2-10 and 2-7.
