A winter storm watch in effect from Saturday afternoon through Sunday afternoon has been upgraded by the National Weather Service.

Heavy snow is possible, with total snow accumulations of 6 to 10 inches possible, the National Weather Service said Friday morning.

Sunday: Snow likely, mainly before 1 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 36. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
