State police at Fogelsville

State police at the Fogelsville barracks reported the following:

• The driver of a 2003 BMW that crashed at 5:22 a.m. Dec. 23 at 7121 Decatur St., Lynn Township, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Police said the car struck a utility pole and sustained disabling damages. The driver had minor injuries, police said.

• Gabriel A. Mohr, 21, of Schnecksville, was cited after a two-vehicle crash at 7:41 p.m. Dec. 10 at the intersection of Kressler Road and Hamilton Boulevard in Lower Macungie Township.

Police said he was driving a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta that was involved in a mishap with a 2016 Lexus driven by Saeed M. Chaudhry, 60, of Allentown.

He suffered minor injuries in the incident but did not require a medical transport, police said.

• A 65-year-old New Tripoli man is the victim had $7,000 worth of items stolen from his property on Seipstown Road, Weisenberg Township.

Police said between midnight Dec. 16 and 7 a.m. Dec. 20, someone stole a Generac generator worth $6,000 from his property.

Police said the thief also cut a gas line and removed a 100-gallon propane tank from the residence before leaving the scene.

The tank is worth $600, stolen propane is valued at $200 and about 38-feet of PVC piping worth $200 was also taken in the theft.

• Michael Allen, 67, of Orefield, was cited after a crash at 5:34 p.m. Dec. 15 at the intersection of Kistler Valley and Schochary roads in Lynn Township. No one was injured in the incident.

Police said Allen was driving a 2022 Dodge Ram truck southbound and was going to attempt a left-turn onto Holbens Valley Road when it pulled from the stop sign causing a 2005 Toyota Avalon driven by Theodore C. Judson, 22, of Kempton, which was traveling eastbound on Kistler Valley Road, to swerve to the right and strike a concrete porch at 5499 Schochary Road.

Police said the Avalon was towed from the scene.

• Police said two catalytic converters were stolen off vehicles along Golden Key Road, Weisenberg Township, between 3 p.m. Dec. 13 a d 6 a.m. Dec. 15.

The victim is Werley’s Truck Service, Kutztown.

The converters were stolen off a 2016 Jeep and a 1999 Chevrolet, police said.

• A 57-year-old New Tripoli woman is the victim of a theft/bad checks incident that was reported to them at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 13.

Police said she reported someone fraudulently cashed one of her checks for $15,000. They said the woman received her money back from her bank.

• A 46-year-old Orefield man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop made by police.

They stopped him in a 2010 Honda Accord on Route 873 in North Whitehall Township.
