State police at the Pocono barracks were called to a hit-and-run incident that happened at 7:42 p.m. Dec. 16 on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

It happened at mile marker in East Penn Township when a vehicle struck the driver’s side door of a 2008 Land Rover operated by a 17-year-old boy from Philadelphia and continued south on the turnpike.
