Schuylkill County commissioners took or acknowledged the following actions at their regular public meeting last Wednesday:
• Awarded a $12,444 contract to Daniel J. Farmer for a demolition project at 37 Mauch Chunk St., Tamaqua;
• Acknowledged the resignation of Christine Holman, Ryan Township, from her position as a solicitor in the Clerk of Courts office;
• Acknowledged the transfer of Clerk of Courts Maria T. Casey to the position of solicitor in that office;
• Acknowledged the resignation of Crista Dicassimirro, Mahanoy Township, from her position as first deputy in the Clerk of Courts office. She was elected to the position of Clerk of Courts;
• Acknowledged the resignation of Charles Stettler, Tamaqua, from his position as Case officer 1 in Domestic Relations;
• Acknowledged the promotion of Heather Stettler from her position as clerk III to second deputy in the Clerk of Courts office;
• Acknowledged the promotion of Stacie Stoppie from her position as second deputy to first deputy in the Clerk of Courts office.
Commissioners met at 10 a.m. today to reorganize; their first work session of the new year will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the commissioners’ board room.
