Winners of the Lehighton Holiday Decorating Contest have been announced.

Borough council at a special meeting last week awarded the 2023 Residential Christmas Light Contest winners.

This year’s winners were selected by officers from the Lehighton Borough Police Department.

Winners will receive a $25 discount on their utility bills.

The 2023 Holiday Decorating Contest winners were:

• Donald Rehrig, 141 S. Third St.;

•. Patrick Costello, 143 S. Third St.;

• Randy Flexer, 456 Mahoning St.;

• Wayne Brophy, 332 Mahoning St.;

• Brent Harris, 183 N. Seventh St.;

• Barry Heckman, 415 N. Ninth St.;

• Rachel Madzarac, 93 Stedman Ave.;

• Kristen Creemens, 25 Graver St.;

• Janel Lester, 42 Second Ave., and;

• Krysta Fink, 179 N. Eleventh St.
