A 72-home development was pitched earlier this year in Franklin Township.

Franklin Commons is proposed as single-family homes, but Patrick Heller of Rapid Realty Solutions of Collegeville told township supervisors in July that someone suggested some townhouses in the development.

If approved, the proposed 97-acre development would be on Indian Hill Road near Spruce Street, and would use public water and sewer.

As part of the proposal, utilities would be underground, and there would be a homeowners association. The colonial style homes would begin at $450,000.

No action has been taken on the proposal.
