The Marian boys basketball team picked up a victory on Friday night.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Marian-Mt. Carmel

Jacob Miller scored a game-high 26 points and Marian turned back Mount Carmel to claim a 56-52 win in non-league action.

Miller buried three treys in the win, and was nine of 12 from the free throw line, including six of eight in the final quarter. AJ Thomas added 12 points and Jesse Rodino scored 10 for the Colts (8-2).

Jude Lazicki had 21 points for the Red Tornadoes, who outscored Marian 20-12 in the final quarter.

Palmerton-Pennridge

Pennridge edged Palmerton 66-64 in the consolation game of the Allentown Central Catholic Tournament on Thursday.

Brayden Hosier led the Blue Bombers (6-3) with 24 points. Matt Machalik added 20 points and Jacob Grammes chipped in 14.
