December 26, 1985 - Tommy Kresge is clutch down the stretch for Lehighton as the Indians rally from a deficit to defeat Tamaqua 60-54 in the opening round of the Lehighton Christmas Basketball Tournament. With five minutes to play and the Tribe trailing by four points, Kresge scores 19 of his team’s final 20 points to pull out the win. Kresge, who finishes with a game-high 31 points, shoots 4-for-4 from the field and 11-of-12 from the foul line during those final five minutes. Lehighton, coached by Jim Smith, also receives 13 points from Greg Kresge. For the Blue Raiders, Tom Scheitrum nets a team-high 22 points.
