Mahoning Township supervisors took the following action on Wednesday:

• Approved the Lehigh Valley Hospital request for escrow release in the amount of $643,638, which leaves a balance of $57,000.

• Agreed to have the township’s zoning and Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance listed as an agenda item at the board’s year-end meeting at 4 p.m. Dec. 27.

• Agreed to hold a hearing on Jan. 17 before the township Planning Commission’s meeting to discuss the potential removal of Mark Schwalm due to his routine absences from the planners’ meetings.

• Tabled a submittal from Bureau Veritas, Broomal, for building inspector, until the board’s reorganization meeting.

• Approved a 90-day extension for the Lyle Stern minor subdivision.
