State police at Frackville
State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following:
• Police charged Joseph Dabashinsky, 37, of Barnesville, with harassment after they responded to a domestic dispute and a possible residential fire at 5:39 p.m. Dec. 6 at 21 Oak St., Ryan Township.
Police said they interviewed people at the scene and were not able to locate Dabashinsky. The Ryan Township Fire Department responded and determined there was not an active fire at the residence.
It was reported Dabashinsky attempted to start a fire in the house.
They said a warrant for his arrest was obtained.
• A 27-year-old Coaldale man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after he was stopped at 12:56 a.m. Nov. 23 at East Broad and Federal streets in Tamaqua.
Police said they were conducting a roving DUI enforcement throughout Schuylkill County when they stopped the man in a 2017 Chevrolet.
• A driver and three passengers were uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 7 on Interstate 81 in Delano Township.
Police said Elvis M. Lopez Castillo, 29, of Hazleton, was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Equinox northbound when it was snowing. They said he lost control of the vehicle which traveled off the right side of the roadway, coming to a stop with its back part going down an embankment.
The car was towed from the scene.
Police said Lopez Castillo was cited.
• A 27-year-old woman from Lost Creek was charged by police with possession of drug paraphernalia after they were called to an incident at 9:29 a.m. Dec. 10 at the intersection of East Blaine and North Butler streets in McAdoo.
Police said she was driving a 2006 Nissan Sentra when police were called to the scene for a possible medical episode. Police said they observed drug paraphernalia in plain view, seized it and determined there was no medical emergency.
• Scott Silverstein, 35, of Summit Hill, is facing criminal mischief charges after an incident at 3:33 p.m. Nov. 17 in the parking lot of the Walmart Supercenter, Plaza Drive, Rush Township.
Police said it is alleged he used an air gun to shoot out the rear window of a 2006 Acura owned by a 34-year-old Lansford woman, shattering the glass. No one was injured in the incident.
In a related report, police said they are investigating the possible violation of a Protection From Abuse order by Silverstein involving the same woman.
