State police at the Pocono barracks reported on the following incidents that happened on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike:
• No one was injured in a crash at 1:47 p.m. Nov. 26 at mile marker 72 in East Penn Township.
Police said a 2013 Mazda 3 operated by Joseph W. Victor, 21, of Orchard Park, New York, was traveling southbound when it failed to slow down for vehicles that had slowed and stopped in front of his car, striking the rear of a 2013 Nissan Frontier driven by Matthew C. Sullivan, 41, of Lansdale. Police said the impact caused the Frontier to strike the rear of a 2012 Ford Escape operated by a 17-year-old boy from Reading.
• Shannon M. Brown, 45, of Shavertown, was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 3:03 p.m. Nov. 22 at mile marker 80.5 in North Whitehall Township.
She was transported by personnel from the Cetronia Ambulance Corps to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, to be treated for suspected minor injuries.
Police said she was driving a 2023 Nissan Rogue northbound when it veered to the right, striking an embankment. The driver then swerved to the car to the left, at which time it struck a concrete barrier.
• Danny Cadena, 22, of Wilkes-Barre, was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed after a two-vehicle crash at 9:50 p.m. Nov. 11 at mile marker 77.7 in Franklin Township.
Police said he was driving a 2016 Honda Civic that went out of control and overturned onto its roof. It was struck by a 2014 Toyota Prius driven by Vicente H. Bernardo, 54, of Collingswood, New Jersey.
No one was injured in the crash.
