Summit Hill police have charged a borough man in connection with a burglary last month in which gold and silver coins worth in excess of $5,000 were reported stolen from a borough residence.
Police Chief Todd Woodward said Logan Loveless, 23, of 122 E. Fell St., is charged with burglary, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and criminal trespass as a result of the incident.
Woodward said police were notified on Nov. 17 of the burglary that happened earlier in the month at 55 E. White St. Through a video surveillance camera, he said Loveless was observed entering the home.
Police obtained a warrant for his arrest and Loveless was taken into custody on Tuesday and committed to the Carbon County Correctional Facility, Nesquehoning.
