State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks reported the following:
• Mark I. Walters, 24, of Hamburg, was cited for careless driving after a two-vehicle crash at 1:38 p.m. Nov. 20 on Route 61 in West Brunswick Township.
Police said he was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt when he attempted to make a right turn from the left lane of travel into the “exit only” driveway of the Rutter’s store. The car crossed in front of and struck a 2024 Volvo driven by Angelo M. Smith, 53, of Salisbury, Maryland.
Police said the Cobalt sustained disabling damages and was towed from the scene. The Volvo was able to be driven from the scene.
No one was injured in the mishap.
• Cynthia A. Zeidler, 55, of Schuylkill Haven, was cited after a two-vehicle crash at 5:40 p.m. Nov. 27 on Route 61 in West Brunswick Township.
Police said she was driving a 2021 Ford Explorer southbound in the left lane when she attempted to move into the right lane which was occupied by a 2008 Ford Focus driven by Philip V. Heiser, 68, of Port Carbon. Police said he attempted to avoid the collision and traveled off the roadway, striking a mailbox.
No one was injured in the incident. Police said the Focus was towed from the scene.
