The Tamaqua boys and girls basketball teams each posted wins over Shenandoah on Tuesday.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Tamaqua-Shenandoah Vy.

Connor Dillon scored a game-high 26 points in Tamaqua’s 57-26 victory over Shenandoah Valley.

Noah Mateyak added 14 points for the Blue Raiders (1-1), who hit five three-pointers in the contest, with three coming from Dillon and two from Mateyak.

John Silvestre led the Blue Devils (0-3) with 13 points.

Sarah Hope led Tamaqua with 14 points in a 49-28 victory over Shenandoah Valley.

Makayla Bartenope had nine rebounds and eight points for the unbeaten Blue Raiders (3-0), while Lauren Ligenza also scored eight points. Kolbe Robb added six steals and six assists in the win.

Lehighton dropped a 43-31 decision to Blue Mountain in Schuylkill League play.

Kylie Conway had 15 points for the Eagles (2-0), while Hailey Place scored 11.

Emma Repsher led the Indians (1-2) with 13 points. Repsher also had Lehighton’s lone three-pointer of the game. Charli McHugh added 12 points.
