Downtown Tamaqua streets and restaurants were jammed with shoppers Saturday during the 28th Annual Spirit of Christmas Festival. One event, Tink’s Old Fashioned Christmas Marketplace, drew record crowds, closing off South Railroad Street. La Dolce Casa Restaurant on West Broad Street reported a 90-minute wait to get inside.
