Rush-Ryan Seniors

The Rush-Ryan-Delano Senior Citizens met on Nov. 28 with 31 members in attendance. President Robert Neifert opened the meeting with the reading “A Touch Of Christmas.” Sick list additions: Pat Tracey, Edith Varano, Mary Ann Fisher, Muriel Wehr, John Taylor. November birthdays were celebrated by Jean Machamer and Doris Brobst.

The group Christmas party will be at noon on Dec. 12 at Capriotti’s, McAdoo. The next meeting will be Jan. 9 and attendees are reminded to bring a box lunch until further notice. The group meets at 1 p.m. the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at Christ Church, Barnesville. Anyone 55 and older is invited to attend.

Zion Lewistown

Pastor Jim Williams will officiate at the 10:30 a.m. worship service at Zion Church Lewistown Valley. Sunday school is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.

All are invited to participate in Christmas caroling at 2 p.m. on Saturday afternoon Dec. 2.

Sunday: THE CHOSEN will be shown at 2 p.m. All are welcome to join us in Memorial Hall. Poinsettia orders are due on Sunday.

Thrift Sale

Blessings, Zion Lutheran’s thrift ministry, is hosting a one-day holiday sale, Friday, Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It’s the last sale of the year. The sale features gently used winter clothing, school uniforms along with general household items, books, toys and holiday decorations. A limited kitchen take-out menu is available and baked goods.
