Students at Carbon Career & Technical Institute in the Welding and Heating/Ventilation/Air Condition & Refrigeration technical areas recently heard from the Steamfitters Local Union 420 the various opportunities that are available to them.

Peter A. Klein, Director of Training, and Lenny Perrone explained to the students what the apprentice program is and the opportunities of becoming a journeymen following the completion of the apprentice program.

They also explained that there are steamfitter careers available nationwide and continuing education for other career paths within the steamfitters union.
