Fritz Valley Road in Mahoning Township was closed Tuesday morning because of a tractor trailer rollover.

The incident occurred as the rig owned and operated by the Remmey pallet company was traveling south at the intersection with Eidem Road.

The driver of the rig told police he swerved when a deer ran out in front of him. The truck hit a tree, then went down a slight embankment. The driver was not injured.

Mahoning Township police are investigating.
