Paul G. Breiner of Andreas R. 1, chief of the Andreas Volunteer Fire Company, was named “Citizen and Lion of the Year” during festivities held this past weekend at the Andreas fire hall, sponsored by the West Penn Lions Club.

Breiner is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul E. Breiner, Andreas R. 1, and the husband of the former Barbara Dunn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dunn, New Ringgold R.2.

The award recipient is a 25-year member of the fire company and an active and charter member of the Penn-Mahoning Ambulance Association.

He received a plaque from Robert A. Miller III, Lions Club president.
