A 9-year-old boy suffered injuries after he ran into the side of the vehicle in the 100-block of West Holland Street in Summit Hill Friday afternoon, borough police said.

The boy was playing with other children when he darted out between parked cars and ran into a vehicle driven by Treyahna Bolinsky, 19, of Frackville, around 3:20 p.m.

The boy, who was awake following the accident, was taken by Lehighton Ambulance to Lehigh Valley Hospital- Cedar Crest, police said. The extent of his injuries was not known.

Bolisky’s vehicle sustained moderate damage, police said.
