Rush-Ryan Seniors
The Rush-Ryan-Delano senior citizens met on Nov. 14 with 34 members in attendance. The meeting was opened by the president with the reading “God’s Way.”
Eleanor Schmerfeld, Shirley Kaiser, Gladys Arner and Bill Morrison were added to the sick list. New member Terry Rex was given a warm welcome. November birthdays being celebrated include: John Taylor, Muriel Wehr and Karen Reed. Winners of the raffle were: Karen Reed, Thanksgiving dinner; Muriel Wehr, large candy bar; Lynn Price and Ruthann Feane, cakes.
The group meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 1 p.m. at Christ Church, Barnesville. Anyone 55 and older is invited to attend.

The Tamaqua Senior citizens met on Nov. 9 with 23 members in attendance. The meeting was opened by the president with the reading “A Veterans Day Prayer.”
Eleanor Schmerfeld was added to the sick list. The Chinese auction was a success.
The group meets every Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Coaldale Complex. Anyone 55 and older is invited to attend.
Calvary Lewistown
Pastor Kim will offer the message at the 10:30 a.m. worship service this Sunday in Calvary Evangelical Church, Lewistown Valley. Sunday school is scheduled for 9:15 a.m. There is no evening service this week and no Wednesday evening prayer service.
This Sunday is Thanksgiving/Harvest home Sunday. Bring nonperishable foods to be presented to the Pastor and family.

Pumpkin Roll pickup
For those who ordered homemade pumpkin roll sale for Thanksgiving, pickup is Nov. 19, 3 to 5 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, Mauch Chunk Street.
Food Pantry
American Primitive Methodist Church working in partnership with the Salvation Army will distribute food twice a month, the second Wednesday of each month from 2 to 5 p.m. and the third Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon and 4 to 5:30 p.m.
