November 17, 2009 - Palmerton Area High School holds a signing ceremony for swimmer Shea Solt, who commits to the University of Delaware. Solt, the daughter of Shari and Chip Solt, receives a scholarship to swim for the Blue Hens. Solt, a senior, will go on to earn a third place in the 200 free and a fourth in the 500 free at the PIAA state championships before the two-time Times News Swimmer of the Year enjoys a four-year career at Delaware, where she made the All-Time top-10 list in five events.
