State police at the Stroudsburg barracks reported on the following:
• Kevin J. Nguyen, 24, of Nazareth, was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed after a two-vehicle crash at 11:07 a.m. Nov. 7 on Route 33 in Hamilton Township. No one was injured in the incident.
Police said he was driving a 2017 Nissan Altima northbound and was traveling too fast for conditions when it struck a 2009 Volvo VHD driven by Gary B. Sessaman Jr., 46, of Rome, after the Volvo had moved into Nguyen’s lane.
Police said the Altima was wedged into the trailer of the Volvo and had disabling damages. The rig had minimal damages.
• Adam J. Parlapiano, 52, of Phillipsburg, New Jersey, sustained a left arm injury when a car he was driving struck a deer at 3:43 a.m. Nov. 1 on Route 33 in Hamilton Township.
Parlapiano did not require a medical transport from the scene, police said.
• Two people were injured in a one-car crash at 11:16 p.m. Nov. 8 on Route 33 in Hamilton Township.
Police said driver, Chelsea L. Vitale, 25, and a 2-year-old boy, both from Effort, were treated at the scene by personnel from the Wind Gap Ambulance Corps but were not transported to a medical facility.
Police said Vitale was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer southbound when it struck a deer. Police said the driver tried to overcompensate after swerving the vehicle, which left the road and rolled up a grass embankment. The vehicle sustained disabling damages and was towed from the scene.
Police said Vitale was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed.
