Marian graduate Baloga stars for Cortland State

Mike Baloga, a 2021 graduate of Marian Catholic High School who in his senior year kicked a school record 47-yard field goal against Shenandoah Valley, is setting multiple kicking records at Cortland State University in New York.

This past weekend, Baloga was 5-for-5 in extra points and booted a game-clinching 29-yard field goal as the Red Dragons defeated Ithaca College for the Cortana Jug trophy.

This season, Baloga is a perfect 68-for-68 in extra points. He has made a school record 87 consecutive extra points over the last two seasons. which is also an Empire 8 Conference record. He currently holds the school record for most points in a season (89); most extra points in a career (127); and most extra points in a single game (10), which is also an Empire 8 conference record.
