State Police - Schuylkill Haven
State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks reported on the following:
• About $8,700 worth of items were stolen in a burglary that was reported to police at 3:53 p.m. Oct. 25.
The victims are two women, ages 58 and 25, both from Orwigsburg.
Police said the burglary occurred at a property on New Philadelphia Road, West Brunswick Township.
Stolen were Louis Vuitton sneakers valued at $2,500, an Amiri T-shirt worth $450, an Amiri knitted hoodie estimated at $1,200, Amiri ripped-animal print jeans valued at $1,300, Amiri jeans worth $1,100, a Celine hoodie that cost $1,600 and Yeezy sneakers worth $550.
• Faith Strause, 64, of Schuylkill Haven, was arrested for indecent exposure and open lewdness after police were called at 6:01 p.m. Nov. 1 to a property on Railroad Street in Cressona.
The victim is a 70-year-old man from Cressona.
Police said Strause was pulling down her pants and flashing traffic. She was taken into custody and arraigned.
• Police were called to a criminal mischief incident at 4:18 p.m. Nov. 2 at a property on the New Philadelphia Road, West Brunswick Township.
They said unknown actors slashed the tires of two vehicles in the early-morning hours that day. The victims are a 58-year-old woman from Orwigsburg and a 46-year-old woman from New Ringgold.
• No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash that was caused by a deer jumping over the cement center median of Route 61 in West Brunswick Township at 9:08 p.m. Nov. 5.
Police said Alyson C. Warke, 46, of Orwigsburg, was driving a 2015 Toyota Camry northbound d when the deer entered the roadway and was struck. After striking the deer, Warke slowed down the Camry drastically, at which time it was struck in the rear by a 2016 Hyundai Tucson operated by Jennifer L. Bowen, 63, if Orwigsburg.
Police said both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
• A 16-year-old Tamaqua boy is facing charges of terroristic threats after police were called to a disturbance at 8:48 a.m. Nov. 1 at a property on Maple Avenue in Norwegian Township.
Police said the victim is a 55-year-old woman from Pottsville.
Police said the investigation showed the boy threatened a staff member and damaged property. The charges will be filed with the Schuylkill County Juvenile Probation Office.
