November 9, 2001 - Jordan Grube boots a 23-yard field goal in overtime to lift Northwestern to a 10-7 victory over Salisbury in a District 11 Class 2A semifinal playoff game. The Tigers, coached by Bob Mitchell, trail throughout most of the contest but tie the score with 4:45 left in regulation when Ray Keshel caps a nine-play drive with a 22-yard touchdown run and Grube nails the PAT. A key 6-yard shovel pass to Derek Bailey on a fourth-and-three keeps the march going. After Grube’s clutch OT kick, the Falcons miss a 22-yard attempt to send Northwestern to the 2A title game.
