State police at Fogelsville

State police at the Fogelsville barracks have reported on incidents to which officers responded recently:

• Police are investigating a theft by disposition of funds incident in which a 53-year-old woman from New Tripoli is the victim.

They were called on Oct. 23 to a property on Lowhill Church Road, Lowhill Township, where the victim reported she found out her check was altered to the amount of $1,364.70 and cashed on May 24 into an unknown actor’s Citizens Bank account.

• Police are investigating the theft of four emission stickers from Integrity Auto, Route 100, New Tripoli. It was reported to them at 1:05 p.m. Oct. 18.

Police said the owner related that upon a recent audit, he discovered the stickers were gone missing or were stolen on or about June 9.

Police said the stickers were entered into the NCIC system and state police’s VFI Unit was notified and related the stickers do not match any records for known or previously-recovered stolen stickers.
