Billy O’Gurek is the former Chair of the Carbon County Democratic Party. He is now running for District Magistrate. I am a member of the county Democratic Party’s Executive Board. At no time did Mr. O’Gurek approach the party for its endorsement. He felt that it was important for a magistrate to be nonpartisan and fair to all people, no matter what their political affiliation.

I know that if Mr. O’Gurek is elected, he will treat everyone equally whatever their party identification.
