State Police at Fern Ridge
State police at Fern Ridge reported on the following incidents:
• A 37-year-old Jim Thorpe man was charged with scattering rubbish after police were called to the area of Unionville and School House roads in Penn Forest Township at 9:09 a.m. Oct. 27.
Police said the victim is a 54-year-old man from Jim Thorpe.
They said the man was charged after they conducted interviews and observed photographs taken by Penn Forest Township workers.
• A 34-year-old man from Albrightsville, was charged with “firearm sale or transfer” charges after police were called at 12:51 a.m. Aug. 8 to a property on Route 903 in Penn Forest Township.
Police said he was charged after it was learned he was not to possess a firearm.
• Police are investigating a report of endangering the welfare of a child that involves a 10-year-old girl from Albrightsville.
They were called to a property on Talbot Lane, Penn Forest Township, at 12:41 a.m. Oct. 5 to investigate the report.
• Police were summoned to a ChildLine report in which the victim is a 9-year-old girl from Effort.
They said it happened at 11:49 a.m. Oct. 3 at 1108 Bluegrass Lane, Chestnuthill Township.
• A report of stalking/harassment by following a person is being investigated by troopers.
They were called to a property on Sugar Hollow Road, Chestnuthill Township, at 4 p.m. Oct. 4 where the victim, a Saylorsburg woman, reported a suspicious vehicle had parked near her residence several times.
• Police said a garage door at a property in Chestnuthill Township had $1,500 damaged to it after a criminal mischief incident that was reported to them at 1:36 p.m. Oct. 22.
It happened at 112 Timber Lane in the township.
• Joseph Falcone, 47, of Effort, is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after police conducted a traffic stop at 12:32 a.m. Oct. 14.
They stopped him in a 2011 Ford Escape for Motor Vehicle Code violations at the intersection of Evergreen Hollow Road and Long Woods Drive in Chestnuthill Township.
