No charges were filed after a Jim Thorpe man shot a BB gun from his vehicle at another vehicle in Lehighton.

At 7:43 a.m. Oct. 24, Lehighton Police Department investigated an incident at North First and Carbon streets.

Police said a 41-year-old man shot a BB gun from his vehicle, which struck another vehicle that was occupied by a 48-year-old Palmerton woman and a 35-year-old Lehighton woman.

The women were not hit, but their vehicle sustained damage to the back passenger side window.

The incident was the result of a past domestic issue between one of the women and the man.
