A Lansford man faces stalking and other charges after state police responded to a reported Protection from Abuse violation.
Joshua Bynon, 39, of East Abbott Street, was arraigned Thursday on charges of stalking, resisting arrest, harassment and disorderly conduct and lodged in the Carbon County prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.
According to the criminal complaint, state police received a report of a PFA violation in the unit block of East Ridge Street.
The PFA was served Monday, and the victim said that Bynon had been pacing up and down her street, near her residence, court papers said.
Bynon was yelling obscenities and other rhetoric near the victim’s home on Wednesday evening, court papers said.
Three troopers went to Bynon’s home to arrest him, and he resisted and troopers used substantial force to take him in, court papers said.
