The Students of the Month for October and staff were recognized last week by the Pleasant Valley School District for the successes so far this school year.

The Students of the Month include: Bears Academy, Joshua Perez, eleventh grade; Kindergarten, Brianna Getz; first grade, Cooper Dean; second grade, Gabriel Peters; third grade, Logan Statts; fourth grade, Charlotte McDermott; fifth grade, Rayna Anoai; sixth grade, Lila Triolo; seventh grade, Olivia Potestio; eighth grade, Michalina Sordyl; ninth grade, William Corbo; tenth grade, Taylor Filippo; eleventh grade, Mallory Garrity; and twelfth grade, Trever Burns.

Susan Kresge, the president of the school board said, “Congratulations to all our students of the month, and to their parents for raising such wonderful children.”

The Employees of the Month from both the teachers and support staff that were recognized include: PVES - Lacey Magyar, teacher; and Ron Miller; PVIS - Amy Balchune, teacher; and Richard Hicks; PVM - Marc Fleming, teacher; and Rachel Brown; PVHS - Craig Morris, teacher; and Crystal Reph.
