Please join me in supporting Sam Lux for Carbon County Controller. Sam is the only candidate with relevant experience and the knowledge to be our county controller.

The county controller position is too important to be left to partisan politics. Especially when the role has nothing to do with political affiliation. Similar to the Coroner’s race, why does the political party even matter? I’ve never asked an accountant (or a coroner) what their political party is. I’ve only ever considered their ability for the job. I ask you to do the same thing, and review both candidates on their experience and capabilities. If you do this, I am confident you will come to the same conclusion as myself.

All of us want to hear that the county is spending our tax dollars wisely. I am confident Sam is the right candidate to make this happen and bring much needed skill and integrity to the Controller’s office.
