Friday Night Football: Palmerton, Northwestern each finish 10-0; Machalik makes Pa. history

Palmerton quarterback Matt Machalik made Pennsylvania high school football history and the Blue Bombers and Northwestern Lehigh Tigers capped off perfect regular seasons Friday night.

Michalik became the first Pennsylvania high school player to pass for more than 5,000 yards and rush for more than 5,000 yards in a career in leading the Blue Bombers (10-0) to a 47-13 victory over Northern Lehigh.

Northwestern also finishes 10-0 after rolling over previously unbeaten Southern Lehigh 42-14.
