The Lake Harmony Rescue Squad and Ambulance Corps broke ground on Saturday for a new energy-efficient building.

The PolySteel SuperForms building will house rescue vehicles and serve as additional storage space. PolySteel SuperForms has been widely acclaimed to be the most energy-efficient method of construction in the building industry.

Participating in the groundbreaking ceremony were Wayne Jarrett, president of the squad, Bruce Berger, rescue chief, who had the honor of turning over the first shovel of dirt, Lenny Tiscio, treasurer, and Stan Kostro, assistant rescue chief.
