Emergency personnel are on scene of a reported fire Friday night in West Penn Township. The alarm came in just after 9 p.m. as an automatic fire alarm at Houser-Newman Ophthalmologists at 37 Medical Crossings Road. When units arrived it was determined to be a working fire and additional alarms were issued. Fire companies from Schuylkill and Carbon counties were dispatched to the scene.
