Palmerton Police Department responded to 170 calls in September. The following were charged:

• Trevor Strohl, 39, Palmerton, two counts each of aggravated assault and simple assault, and one count of recklessly endangering another person, on Sept. 10 in the 900 block of Princeton Avenue.

• Jared Behler, 23, Palmerton, one count each of flight to avoid apprehension, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, on

Sept, 13 in the 600 Block of Alley F.

• Timothy Shelly, 59, Weissport, one count of forgery, on Sept. 21 in the 300 Block of Third Street.

• Jaclyn Derr, 42, Palmerton, one count of criminal trespass, on Sept. 28 in the 500 Block of Lehigh Avenue.

• Amy Freed, 37, Palmerton, three counts of DUI-controlled substance, two counts of driving under suspension, and one count of careless driving, on June 26 in the 500 Block of Delaware Avenue.

• Christopher Foley, 39, Lehighton, three counts of DUI controlled substance, on July 3 on Route 248 East.

• Tylar Romanishan, 28, Palmerton, one count of DUI controlled substance, on July 4 at the intersection of Mauch Chunk Road and Franklin Avenue.

• Dana Morgan-Buck, 45, Palmerton, two counts of DUI alcohol, on July 7 in the 200 Block of Delaware Avenue.

• Eileen Ortiz, 41, Budd Lake, New Jersey, two counts of DUI alcohol, on Aug. 9 in the 100 Block of Delaware Avenue.

• Stanley Schoch, 59, Palmerton, two counts each of DUI controlled substance and DUI alcohol, on Aug. 14 in the 600 Block of Lehigh Avenue.

• Thomas Scherer, 42, Palmerton, one count each of DUI controlled substance and driving under suspension, on Sept. 8 at the intersection of Mauch Chunk Road and Franklin Avenue.

Other incidents

• In addition, Palmerton Police issued seven non-traffic citations: four for street cleaning violations, two for disorderly conduct, and one for harassment by physical contact.

• Palmerton Police also issued eight traffic violation warnings, and 37 traffic citations: 12 for expired inspection, five for maximum gross weight of vehicles, four for driving without a license, three each for state parking violations and expired registration, two each for unlawful activities, and obedience to traffic control devices, and one each for speeding, careless driving, driving under suspension, modified exhaust, stop signs, and maximum gross weight on bridges.
