State police at the Frackville barracks are investigating an institutional criminal mischief incident that happened between midnight Oct. 5 and 10:16 a.m. Oct. 8 at a church in Girardville.

Police said someone smashed a first-floor window on St. Joe’s Community Church, 211 W. Main St., with an unknown object.
