Lehigh Valley Health Network will hold a free walk-in community flu shot clinic at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Carbon, 2226 Blakeslee Blvd. Drive E., Lehighton, from 9 a.m., to noon on Saturday, Oct. 28.

The seasonal flu vaccine is available for age 6 months and older. A high-dose vaccine is available for people age 65 and older. Supplies are limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. No registration is necessary. For more information, go to LVH-Carbon Free Flu Shot Clinic.

Collection of nonperishable food items and paper products will be accepted at this time and distributed to St. Peter’s Community Resource Center and Family Promise of Carbon County.
