Dr. Marvin Snyder, chief of staff, and Arthur R. Stout, administrator, today announced the appointment of John E. Steele, M.D., to the medical staff at the Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton.

Dr. Steele, former chief of the medical staff at the Coaldale Hospital, is a graduate of Ursinus College and the Jefferson Medical School. He completed his internship and residency requirements at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

A specialist in internal medicine, he has opened an office at Second and South streets, Lehighton.

He and his wife, Louisa, and their children reside in Ebberts Park, Lehighton.
