The Tamaqua Public Library has a new offering of programs that families will love. Stop in to the library, at 30 S. Railroad St., or call 570-668-4660 to register.
• The International View the Moon Day is Oct. 21. The program features a special story time. The program is at 10 a.m. for children up to age 5 and at 11 a.m. for children in kindergarten through third grade. Every child will leave with a lunar map for viewing the moon later that night.
• The Autumn Reading Program, for children in kindergarten through third grade, will be held Mondays from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 23 through Nov. 27. The program includes reading, a snack, and STEM. Children must be registered for this program.
