The C.H. Berry Post of the American Legion in Tamaqua recently hosted a free dinner for veterans who have been post members for 25 years or more.
The Veterans Appreciation Dinner was organized by the Legion’s Auxiliary, which has organized the annual event for many years.
Attendees and their guests were treated to a catered dinner and complimentary beverages.
Several social members also helped to make the veteran members feel special on the special day.
