Area crashes

State police at the Belfast barracks reported on area crashes:

• Warren H. Scheer, 74, of Palmerton, was uninjured in a two-vehicle crash at 1:29 p.m. Sept. 2 on Riverton Road in Upper Mount Bethel Township.

Police said he was driving a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 west on Riverton Road when a 2017 Subaru Legacy driven by Janice Hromchak, 59, of Bangor, proceeded into the intersection at Deer Run Road and he was unable to stop, striking the driver’s-side rear fender of the Legacy.

Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene, police said.

Hromchak was also uninjured.

• Police said three vehicles were damaged in a crash at 6:25 p.m. Sept. 19 on Route 33 in Lower Nazareth Township. No one was injured.

Police said the vehicles were traveling northbound at the time and the drivers were changing lanes as there was a work zone traffic control device blocking the left lane. Police said as traffic came to a stop, one of the vehicles struck the rear of the second vehicle, pushing it into the rear of the third vehicle.

Police said a 2009 Toyota Rav4 operated by Nicholas Adamcik, 43, of Bethlehem, sustained disabling damages and needed to be towed from the scene. A 2012 Jeep Wrangler driven by Susan P. Price, 50, of Henryville, and a 2017 Jeep Renegade operated by Diana M. Albino, 50, of Hazlet, New Jersey, sustained minor damages, police said.
