Jacob’s Weissport Historical Society will host a Living History Day in the Weissport Park from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.
The event will be performed by the “Pennsylvania Regiment” representing the British and the “Regiment de la Reine” representing the French, both groups graciously exhibiting from Schuylkill County.
At 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. visitors may join patrolling troops around the park offering historical details.
At 2 p.m. they will display a musket firing after a question and answer period held in the gazebo. Refreshments will be sold by Jacob’s UCC Church within the park.
The Jacob’s Weissport Historical Society will be open at that time for visitors to see their historical collection.
