State police at Lehighton reported on two recent crashes:

• Joseph P. Woods, 37, of Lehighton, was cited after a crash at 7:26 a.m. Sept. 16 on East Lizard Creek Road in East Penn Township.

Police said he was driving a 2011 Hyundai Accent when he failed to ensure traffic conditions were safe to turn into a driveway and struck a 2008 Chevrolet Impala driven by Kevin M. Johnson, 59, of Walnutport.

No one was injured in the incident. Police were assisted at the scene by a towing service.

• Christopher M. Haefele, 50, of Slatington, was cited after an incident at 11:36 a.m. Sept. 11 on Smith Road in Polk Township.

Police said he was driving a 2020 Kenworth vehicle westbound when it struck a 2018 Quality trailer that was parked on the right shoulder of the roadway. Damages were minimal to both vehicles, police said.

They said Haefele left the scene without providing information to the other person, William C. Tippett, 39, of Kunkletown.

No one was injured in the incident.
