A car driven by Melissa L. Anthony, 33, of Albrightsville, was struck by a vehicle that left the scene on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. She was uninjured.

State police at the Pocono barracks said it happened at 5:58 a.m. Sept. 13 at mile marker 64 in North Whitehall Township.

Police said she was driving southbound in the left lane of travel when a vehicle in the right lane struck her passenger’s front side and fled the scene.
