Northwestern cross country coach Chris Stitzel earned his 900th-career victory Thursday during a Colonial League meet.
The Tigers also gained wins in both boys soccer and golf action.
Lehighton earned two victories, as its field hockey and girls soccer teams were both successful.

Northwestern head coach Chris Stitzel earned his 900th-career victory during a Colonial League meet at Catasauqua.
Stitzel, now in his 25th season, also reached the 500-win mark with the girls program. Both Tiger teams posted 4-1 marks, falling to Southern Lehigh.
Palmerton’s Connor Hibell won the boys race in a time of 17:00 to help his team finish 2-2. Northwestern’s Xander Giodomenico placed third, while the Tigers’ Sean Kershner finished fifth.
Northwestern’ Sophia Cornell crossed the line fourth in the girls race, helping Stitzel reach his milestone. Northern Lehigh’s Emma Heil also produced a top-ten finish, taking ninth.

BOYS SOCCER
Northwestern-Moravian A.
In a battle of unbeatens, Northwestern slipped past Colonial League foe Moravian Academy by a 3-2 score.
The Tigers received goals from Jake van Lierop, Issac Frey, and Zach Grim.
Northwestern upped its record to 9-0 overall and 6-0 in the league, while the Lions fell to 5-1.
Moravian Academy slipped to 5-1.
Pen Argyl-Northern Lehigh
Logan Berfield scored the game’s only goal to lift Northern Lehigh to a 1-0 Colonial League victory over Pen Argyl.
Berfield scored on a direct free kick in the first half, which helped lift the Bulldogs to 2-4 overall and 1-4 in the league.
Nolehi keeper Jimmy Stock had 16 saves to earn the shutout.
The Green Knights dropped to 1-6.
FIELD HOCKEY
Lehighton-Northern Lehigh
Lehighton used a big game from Gabby Brown to gain a 5-1 victory over Northern Lehigh.
Brown scored all five goals for the Indians, who improved to 5-2.
The winners also received an assist from Ava Kishner.
Addy Cieri accounted for the Bulldog’s only goal when she scored off a penalty corner in the third period.
The loss dropped Northern Lehigh to 0-7.
GIRLS SOCCER
Marian-Lehighton
Charli McHugh and Sadie Monk both had hat tricks to lead Lehighton to a 11-1 Schuylkill League victory over Marian.
Monk also had an assist as the Indians won their third straight game to even their record at 3-3.
Mylee Lutsko contributed a goal and three assists to the winning effort, while Leah Uyvari, Karissa Moyer and Avery Bauder all added a goal and a helper. Ryleigh Walker chipped in with an assist.
The Fillies, now 0-7, received a goal from Lizzie Pikitus.
Pottsville-Jim Thorpe
Pottsville posted a 5-0 Schuylkill League victory over Jim Thorpe.
Abbie Davis scored a pair of goals to lead the Crimson Tide (5-2-1).
Jim Thorpe, which suffered its fourth straight defeat to fall to 2-5, received 16 saves from goalie Olivia Rosenberger.
Minersville-Weatherly
Minersville rolled to a 10-0 Schuylkill League win over Weatherly.
Kendall Gerhard finished with 20 saves for the Wreckers, who fell to 0-5 overall and 0-4 in the league.
VOLLEYBALL
Jim Thorpe-Blue Mountain
Jim Thorpe swept Blue Mountain 25-20, 25-19, 25-17 in Schuylkill League action.
Brooke Mitzen led the way for the Olympians with 11 kills, three digs and three aces, while Brianna Snisky contributed 10 kills and four blocks.
The winners, who improved to 6-1 overall and 5-1 in the league, also received 35 assists and 10 service points from Maggy Hallihan, and eight digs and eight service points from Olivia Calcano.
The loss dropped the Eagles to 4-3.
Minersville-Panther Valley
Panther Valley cruised to a 25-15, 25-13, 25-12 Schuylkill League victory over Minersville.
Caroline Breslin had 11 digs and three aces for the Panthers, while Lucy Greco finished with three kills.
The winners, who remained undefeated at 7-0 overall and 5-0 in the league, also received four assists and three digs from Ava Alabovitz.
Minersville remained winless at 0-8.
Williams Valley-Marian
Abbey Kluck had 11 kills, nine digs and 10 aces to help power Marian to a 25-16, 25-4, 25-15 Schuylkill League victory over visiting Williams Valley.
Isabella Horvat added three kills, 11 digs and four aces to the winning cause, while Julia Meiss contributed 17 assists, five digs and three aces.
The Fillies, who improved to 6-2 overall and 4-1 in the league, also received 11 digs and two aces from Megan Reaman. Zoe Katena chipped in with five digs.
The loss dropped the Vikings to 1-5.
Pleasant Valley-Dieruff
Rylee Ruggiero recorded 14 kills as Pleasant Valley remained undefeated with a convincing 25-10, 25-16, 25-20 Eastern Pennsylvania Conference victory over Dieruff.
The Bears, now 8-0, received 15 assists, seven digs and two aces from Brianna Bruckman, while Hannah Akob finished with five kills.
Also contributing to PV’s win were Kara Miller (five blocks, four aces, four assists, three digs), Alexis Wilkes (six aces, five assists, three digs) and Laura Ballak (three kills).
EEA-Palmerton
It took a fifth set, but Palmerton pulled out a 25-20, 16-25, 25-20, 22-25, 15-12 victory over Executive Education.
Jessica Heydt had seven kills to lead the Blue Bombers, while Alexis Hess added six kills.
The winners, who improved to 3-7, also received seven aces from Emily Christopher.
Schuylkill Haven-Weatherly
Schuylkill Haven swept Weatherly, 25-21, 25-23, 25-18, in Schuylkill League action.
Kelly Reiner had eight kills for the Wreckers, who slipped to 0-8, while Abigail Binder finished with six kills. Taylor Davidovich added 11 digs.
The win upped the Hurricanes to 5-3.

Sch. Haven-Panther Vy.
Schuylkill Haven posted a 326-420 Schuylkill League victory over Panther Valley.
The Hurricanes, led by Talan Spittler’s 79, finished the regular season undefeated at 12-0.
The winners also received an 81 from Alan Evans.
Drew Kokinda shot a 93 to pace the Panthers (6-6).

The loss dropped PV to 5-10, while the Mounties are now 9-6.

Northwestern’s Cole Dynda shot an 80 to lead the Tigers to a 428-468 Colonial League victory over Palmerton.
While Northwestern (10-3) only scored against the Blue Bombers, Palmerton also competed against Pen Argyl.
The Knights received an 80 from Jake Martins, while Corey Serfass finished with an 88 for the Bombers (5-9).
Northwestern’s John Conti and Ethan Kozlowski both finished with 84s.
