September 14, 1999 - Tamaqua’s John Henne sets a new school record for goals in a game when he scores six against North Schuylkill during a lopsided 11-0 Blue Raider victory. Henne registers a hat trick in the opening half and assists on a goal by Garrett McMullen as the winners, coached by Walt Watkins, build a 4-0 lead. Dipak Sahoo and Greg Sheeler tally to up the margin to six in the second half before Henne rattles off three more goals over a five-minute span to break the old mark of five, which he also held. Other goals come from Matt Bailey, Curt Williams and Matt Meade.
