State police at Lehighton
State police at Lehighton reported on the following incidents:
• James Connelly, 40, of Saylorsburg, is facing drug possession charges after police said they responded to an inactive verbal domestic incident at 10:04 a.m. Sept. 6 on the 7500 block of Mount Eaton Road, Ross Township and took Connelly into custody on a previously-issued warrant.
They discovered he was also in possession of marijuana.
• A 31-year-old Blakeslee man is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after a traffic stop conducted by state police at the Lehighton barracks.
They stopped him in a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze for a Motor Vehicle Code violation at the intersection of Frable and Frantz roads in Chestnuthill Township.
• Police are investigating a criminal mischief incident that happened at 3:30 a.m. Sept. 2 on Jennifer Lane in East Penn Township.
A 51-year-old Lehighton woman who reported someone vandalized her vehicle using suspected “Flex Seal.”
• A 73-year-old Lehighton woman was cited for disorderly conduct after police were called to an incident at 8:58 a.m. Sept. 3 on Nick Lane in East Penn Township.
Police said they were called there for a report of a woman screaming and yelling in the roadway.
• A 20-year-old man from Bath was charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance after a traffic stop they conducted at 2:41 a.m. Sept. 5 at the intersection of Greenhill Road and Mountain View Drive in Polk Township.
Police said he was driving a 2006 vehicle that was stopped for Motor Vehicle Code violations.
• Police said a 32-year-old Kunkletown man reported to them at 11:55 a.m. Aug. 14 that he sold and shipped a pair of sneakers that were apparently delivered but was never paid for them and was told the package was lost or never delivered.
